Contract 1: Pfluger Lane Water Transmission Line and Manville WSC Water Line Relocation
Contract No. 1 includes the installation of a 2.6-mile, 30-inch diameter ductile iron pipeline to connect the future water treatment plant (Contract 5), near the Pfluger Lane/Weiss Lane intersection, to FM 685. The water pipeline will cross the SH 130 corridor and will be the primary pipeline to convey treated water from the water treatment plant to the Citys customers. Also, included in this contract is the relocation of the Manville WSC water lines that are within the reservoir pool to a new location around the southern perimeter of the reservoir. Contract No. 1 was awarded to Garney Companies, Inc. on January 27, 2004 for the amount of $2,125,625. A notice to proceed was issued on February 16, 2004 and the schedule for completion is 180 days, or August 13, 2004.  Construction Schedule (.pdf,11"x17", 74KB)
