Contract 3: Raw Water Pipeline

Contract No. 3 includes the construction of a 15.5-mile, 30-inch diameter pipeline from the Colorado River Intake & Pump Station (Contract 4) to the Raw Water Storage Reservoir (Contract 2). Contract No. 3 is scheduled for advertisement for bids in March 2004. The pipeline route will extend from the river intake and pump station, about 2 miles downstream of Longhorn Dam, through East Austin and eastern Travis County to Pflugerville. The pipeline will cross 16 public roads and 9 major streams. The total estimated cost for Contract No. 3 is $8,900,000.
